Venturli, Inc. ("Venturli," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Venturli travel planning platform, accessible at venturli.ai and app.venturli.ai. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the platform, and information from third-party services you connect.

Information you provide:

• Account information — name, email address, password
• Profile information — travel preferences, passport details (stored locally on device)
• Booking information — traveler names, dates of birth, passport numbers required for flight bookings
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
• Communications — messages you send us or through the in-app support feature
• Waitlist — email address if you sign up at venturli.ai

Information generated automatically:

• Usage data — features used, searches performed, pages viewed
• Device information — browser type, operating system, device identifiers
• Log data — IP address, access times, referring URLs
• Location data — only if you grant permission, used to show nearby options

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Venturli platform
• Process flight, hotel, and car rental bookings on your behalf
• Send booking confirmations, trip reminders, and service updates
• Power the Compass AI assistant with context about your trip
• Facilitate group trip coordination and cost splitting
• Respond to your support requests and inquiries
• Send product updates and early access information (you can opt out anytime)
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as necessary to provide our services:

• Booking providers — Duffel (flights), LiteAPI (hotels), DiscoverCars (car rentals) receive traveler information required to complete bookings
• Payment processing — Stripe processes all payments; their privacy policy governs how they handle payment data
• Infrastructure — Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) process data to deliver the platform
• Group members — when you share a trip, other members can see itinerary details, costs, and shared content you add
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and seek your consent where required.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) ensures users can only access their own data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Venturli is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. International Transfers

Venturli is based in the United States. If you access the platform from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US. We take appropriate steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this policy.

11. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Venturli after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
